We are giving away the following CD's:
Linux Mint is designed to run on almost all Pentium class or better PC's including 64-bit & multi-core processors. The Linux Mint Desktop CD minimum system requirements are: 256 MB memory or RAM (more memory is better) and 4 GB hard disk space. The memory requirement increases to 384 MB for the 64-bit PC edition.
The most obvious benefit of the Live CD is that you can test-drive the operating system without installing or changing anything on your computer. Since the operating system runs from the CD rather than from a hard disk installation, the Live CD runs slower than an Linux Mint installation. Hard disk speed can be compared to a CD-ROM drive at 200x or faster, whereas a typical CD-ROM runs at 48x.

NimbleX is a Live CD with the option to install to USB flash drive. If you have an old computer, one of our NimbleX CD's will help you put your old PC back to work with a modern, full featured but lightweight operating system (192 MB total install size). NimbleX is modular, meaning that you can easily add applications to suit your needs. It will run on almost all PC's made in the last 10 years. Minimum system requirements: 128 MB memory, 200 MB hard disk space & Pentium class processor.
Damn Small Linux (DSL) is also a Live CD with an installation option. DSL is designed to be able to work on PC's with a small amount of memory or a pre-Pentium processor. We can put these old computers back to work as well. DSL is a modern, full featured but extremely lightweight operating system (50 MB total install size). Minimum system requirements: 16 MB memory, 50 MB hard disk space & PC compatible 486 processor.
