Rates

Our rates are very competitive. Shop around, you won't find better rates or better service. Our rates are as follows:

Service Call:
$25 per service call. This covers pick-up, delivery and setup of your computer. This will be billed only once per job unless additional trips to your location are necessary.

In Shop Service:
$50 per hour ($30 per 1/2 hour) for service at our office unless listed in our flat-rate table below. 

On-site Residential or Home Office:
$50 per hour ($30 per 1/2 hour) unless listed in our flat-rate table below. 

On-site Business or Commercial:
$50 per hour ($30 per 1/2 hour) for on-site service unless listed in our flat-rate table below.

Priority/Emergency Service:
Priority service is available at additional cost to business clients who need to be up and running as soon as possible in order to minimize losses due to unplanned downtime. Priority service is billed an additional 50% premium over our hourly rates. This service is generally not offered to residential clients in order to offer more affordable services to home users. Priority service includes pushing the priority job to the front of the queue, after hours in-shop service, prioritization of all services for expediency and a dedicated technician assigned solely to the prioritized job until completion. Determination of applicable rates is at the sole discretion of Green Star Computers.

Holiday/Afterhours Service:
On-site service for holidays, after hours & times/days not included in our regular office hours are billed an additional 100% premium (normal rates are doubled) over our hourly rates. This service includes the premium services listed under the "Priority/Emergency Service" section above. Determination of applicable rates is at the sole discretion of Green Star Computers.

Residential

Business/Commercial

On-Site service time is dependent upon available equipment & resources at the location in question. A location with a single computer on dial-up internet service seriously limits what Green Star can do on-site and how quickly a given task can be done.

*Green Star will call you with the results of our diagnostic analysis within 2 business days and give you a price for the necessary service(s) and/or repair(s). The diagnostic charge will be waived if you choose to have your computer repaired/serviced by Green Star.

**Maximum charge of $225 is for residential clients only and does not apply to business and/or commercial work. The practicality of cleaning up a virus/spyware infection is dependent on the severity of the infection. Alternately, a data backup & restore plus fresh OS install may be more efficient than a repair if the problem is severe enough. In the most severe cases, repairing Windows is not possible, and a reinstall is necessary. Call Green Star for more information.
